Nyssen Pollmann designs furniture and everyday objects through a curious, research-driven, and material-focused process. Each design begins from one or both principles: a specific interest in a social or cultural subject, a personal memory, a certain spatial proportion, and/or the exploration of a particular material. These starting points are closely interconnected and often influence each other throughout the design process. The result is always a piece of furniture or an everyday object. In some cases, the design process is further explored through side projects such as publications, sound works, or images that stem from the same line of research.

Recent projects have been shown through exhibitions, fairs, and local initiatives, including participation in Borger, where ongoing research and new work are presented.
